Man, I fucking hate squirrels. I hate them so much I almost didn’t drink this beer & I most definitely poured it into a glass and threw the bottle straight into the recycling.
Shoot to kill: this label SUCKS - i hate it. I like the name & the kind of tongue in cheek “nut brown” association, but this label has to go - put it out of it’s misery and stuff a bottle of the ridiculously expensive End of History down it’s horribly designed throat.
It’s too bad, the liquid is solid. I LOVE UPLAND and think they do a great job with their beers (especially the Lambics & my favorite, Badder Elmer Baltic Porter). They have an awesome brewpub and some of the kindest people in the business. I just wish they had used a different label for the Nut Hugger.
Buy a case and take it “up north” with you on your hunting trip this fall… It’s a great fall afternoon beer (robust & highly drinkable) PLUS it’ll make a sweet bottle to spend a few hours aiming a .22 at.
